A commissioned piece that allowed me to step outside of my comfort zone, but challenged me to be as precise as I've ever been. Abiding by the United States Chess Federation (USCF) guidelines, each square is exactly 2.25" x 2.25" with a decorative walnut frame to rest retired pieces on and elevate the playing surface.
Grounded with non-scratching rubber feet, and finished with Rubio Monocoat.
