These two cherry slabs have been in a client's shed for years drying out. After they contacted me we took a look and I was able to cut down the two 9' long slabs and turn them into a beautiful dining table with a steel gray resin river. The bases are from antique sewing machines hat the client also had in their shed for years and wanted to incorporate them into the table as well.
The color of the resin (Japanese Steel Gray) doesn't distract too much from the natural beauty of the slabs and adds tons of visual movement up and down the length of the table.
This piece is finished with Rubio Monocoat (a natural oil and wax finish) for durability and to bring out the natural beauty of the wood as well as a ceramic coating for strength and durability.
Nano Ceramic Coatings are scientifically formulated to penetrate microscopic surface pores to provide a bonding layer of protection that is incredibly strong and resilient. Ceramic coatings work by adhering with the surface to form a protective shield that is next to diamond in hardness and hydrophobic causing liquid to bead on the surface.
All items shown can have the wood species, resin color, and dimensions adjusted to fit your specific taste so they fit best in your home.
Custom laser engraving is also available on most products.
